sevenwise is a writer and artist based in frederick, maryland. she graduated with a master's degree in creative writing in 2022. a professor once told her she needs to write her author bio in the third person. this is supposed to make it seem like she is important enough to have someone else write it for her.

sevenwise worked at a used bookstore for three years post-graduation, where books became objects to her. heavy-but-fragile things that sometimes, for some reason, cost a lot of money. in 2025, she quit this job for a job that feels a little worse, pays a little better, and gives her enough free time to devote to creative hobbies.

because publication requires talent, consistency, and people skills, sevenwise is happy to post all of her writing for free online. she has also been exploring visual art, including printmaking, painting, and papercut, which may be featured here if she ever gets around to photographing any of it.
