sevenwise is a writer and artist based in maryland. she graduated with a master's degree in creative writing in 2022. a professor once told her she needs to write her author bio in the third person. this is supposed to make it seem like she is important enough to have someone else write it for her. because publication requires talent, consistency, and people skills, sevenwise is happy to post her work for free online.

sevenwise will update this page regularly with whatever she is working on, and it will eventually act as an informal portfolio. a lot of the site is still under construction, but she works on it whenever there is a bit of spare time. please excuse the mess.

sevenwise draws writing inspiration from the many years she spent living with mental health problems, and how she still communicates with that part of herself. she was a frightened, anxious child, and most of her art is based on the things that frightened her, as well as ideas and imagery that she found comforting. sevenwise hopes it scares and comforts you, too.
